479 Popcorn is a local Bay Area company founded by Jean Arnold. Jean discovered that 479 degrees Fahrenheit is the optimal temperature for popping corn when she studied at Le Cordon Bleu, London. She has always had a passion for experimenting with different exotic flavors to use on her own organic popcorn inspired by her memories of her mother making fresh pocorn using a hand-cranked stovetop popper.
