Handmade by artists in Montespertoli, a little town near Florence, these ceramics are inspired by rustic Italian markets and kitchens of the past.

"Sottopentola" translates to "under pot", speaking to the function of this 4" trivet. It features Italian names of commonly used ingredients: pomodoro (tomatoes), basilico (basil), olio d'oliva (olive oil), aglio (garlic), and peperoncino (chili pepper).
